How do you interact with screens on a daily basis?
I sit or stand in front of multiple large monitors that flash, blink, and blip constantly from 6am to 5pm, Monday through Friday. After a few years at my job, I started to notice some minor eye strain and the occasional mental fatigue. Fortunately, a friend of mine recommended Felix Gray glasses to me and since I had nothing to lose, I was eager to give them a try. I typically put on my Roebling glasses after lunch for that final stretch of work at the end of the day. I find that it softens my eye strain and generally helps keep my mood up. I’ve got a few different pairs at my desk and people across the floor often stop by and ask – happy to add that I now look across the floor and see that many of them have jumped on the wagon!

In my role, it’s all about helping clients. As long as I’m doing that, I’m being productive.
What is your ideal work environment?
I prefer an open floor collaborative work environment where movement across the floor is encouraged.
What’s your favorite thing to do online?
When I’m not working, I watch sports and read online periodicals often on my iPhone.
