Why we filter Blue Light

Blue Light is high-energy light that screens emit, and it may have negative impacts on our health. Studies show overexposure to Blue Light may be linked to eye strain, increased risk of macular degeneration, and sleep cycle disruption. Our lenses filter Blue Light, particularly the highest energy wavelengths of 400-440 nm.

Why we eliminate glare

Glare creates unnecessary feedback that our eyes need to filter out. This may impact our visibility and create stress on our eyes. All our lenses feature a premium AR coating (Anti-Reflective) that blocks 99% of glare. Now you can leave that glaring problem in the dust for good.

    We embed our technology into the lenses, so our glasses filter 50% of all Blue Light and almost 90% of the highest range without distorting color.

    A recent study found when participants wore our lenses, they had an increase in melatonin levels (96%; P= 0.036), less awakening during sleep, and evidence of improved cognition compared to when they wore clear lenses.

    We embed a naturally occurring Blue Light filtering ocular pigment into the lens. This specifically targets the Blue Light sleep range (440-500 nm wavelengths), which may help increase melatonin secretion without relying on sleeping pills.
